Yes... I'm talking about Waves Winter 2009... I think the basic reason why work hasn't begun is because people are living in denial... And in a false hope that things will change... So to you people... DEAL WITH IT!! We've got to do it... So it's time to quit whining and get down to business...
Now here's a list of things tat should have been done right after last Waves:
1. Department Core Committees should have been formed.
2. Inductions for Departments like Controls, Pro Nights and Workshops & Stalls should have been finished
3. The working of the clubs should have been altered. That is they should have been told to begin working on a January-January
4. The coordination committee should have been formed and DePP should have begun their brochure preparation
So here's what we're faced with... We've got one semester... To get the job done... There's no point in blaming anyone for delays... The thing we need to focus on is not wasting anymore time... Like the saying goes: "What can be done today do it now. What can be don tomorrow do it today."... This is something we need to follow literally... Remember we've got 2 semester's work... And only one semester to get it done...

Exactly. I don't understand why everyone's not bothered to start working. The club's silent, the inductions for deptt hasn't started. Dunno how we'll be holding next Waves.

Er... forgetting one thing you guys, we have exams coming up. while that may not be enough of an incentive for you guys to get your act together and start studying like your future depends on it (surprise, surprise!), it is for a significant part of our populace.
ReplyDeleteone of the biggest reasons why everyone was opposed to a waves in sem 1 was because the transition would be almost completely unmanageable. and its just going to show. people will work, but there's no point expecting them to start while they have d.e. raman looming over their heads
